A range of products from Radio Design Labs utilizing the time proven circuit designs used in the “Stick-On” products but in a slightly larger package. This allows for expanded features and convenient front panel mounting, up to three wide in a standard 19″ rack. All modules measure 43mm high, 150mm wide, and 51mm deep (unless stated otherwise). All rear panel connections are by barrier strip screw terminals, and total depth including connection strip is 64mm (unless stated otherwise). Each product may be used as a stand alone device or combined with other “Rack-Up” and “Stick-On” products as an integrated system. All “Rack-Up” products can operate from a single rail 24-33V DC supply with negative supply connected to ground. A variety of mounting hardware options are offered for total installation flexibility. A video distribution amplifier is also available, stock code 58-494.

For applications where connectorised, 4-channel, balanced mic or line level audio distribution is needed. The input and output connections are provided on the front panel as XLR and the rear panel as full-sized detachable barrier blocks and can wired balanced or unbalanced. The outputs are 150 ohms balanced, designed to drive short or long balanced lines, with each output switchable between mic and line level. Both the front panel input XLR connector and the rear panel input terminals are active at all times and are switchable between mic (high and low gain) and line level. RU-SC2 Serial Data Converter RS232/RS422
For applications when two RS232 devices requiring full duplex communication are to be connected at a long distance. Connection to the RS232 device is made on the front panel. The RS422 and power connections are made via screw terminals on the rear.
Two RU-SC2s may be connected, using the RS422 connections, at each end of 2 pair balanced twisted pair cable, thereby permitting serial communications over much greater distances than with conventional serial cables. Baud rate up to 115.2kbps, determined by RS232 devices. Two LED indicators, transmit and receive. Supply 24-33V DC 125mA.
RU-SQ6A Sequential Controller
A sequential switcher providing control voltages for up to 6 circuits. Each circuit has a 24V DC output for switching mains relays etc and an SPST dry contact for other control functions. Switch on and off delay is adjustable by front panel control. Controlled by either a front panel push-button or rear panel remote activation contact, the unit will also behave as if a power-up sequence is received on receipt of a supply voltage. It also powers off in sequence if that same supply is lost. LEDs indicate the 6 circuit states, if a power-up request is received, sequence complete status and whether the unit is in manual or remote control modes (switchable on the rear).
Technical Specification:

Mounting Accessories
See RDL Rack-Up Mounting Accessories for a range of brackets to fix the modules in standard equipment racks, to table tops and below shelves as well as cases to convert the modules into free-standing equipment.
Powering
Powering: All units require a 24V DC power supply; each has both screw terminals and coaxial socket for power input. A ‘universal’ supply is available, 57-401, with 24V 2A output, which requires an IEC cordset. See RDL Power Supplies for further information and a variety of mounting options. Note that all RDL modules with co-axial power input/output sockets use connectors with 2.5mm pins.
